We believe that maximum results come from exercise prescription, habit formation, and recovery. This results in advanced human performance, increased expected lifespan, and reduction in illness/disease.
1) Proper Exercise Prescription:
In order to give the very best to our clients, we go through a detailed questionnaire in order to get a clear picture of what stage our client is at in their personal fitness journey. By knowing their goals and what they are driven by, we are able to gain a good understanding of what their limitations and obstacles are, and how to navigate around, or through them.
2) Habit Formation:
Habits begin to form in the 3-4 week mark. The psychological edge of knowing this timeline, and the research on habit forming, can help motivate our clients through the 3-4 week mark that is required for developing a habit and achieving consistency. Clients who make it past this hump are much more likely to succeed and achieve their fitness goals. As such, it is important to work together to set realistic expectations with what the client can or cannot do with their current life and schedule.
Results come from two things: Microscopic tears + breakdown, and recovery + regeneration. The quality of the recovery post workout is as important as the workout itself. There are things we can do to advance our recovery and regeneration: higher quality sleep, nutrition (adequate amounts of macro and micro nutrients), and meditation (getting into a relaxed state to reduce stress hormones). We give our clients electronic questionnaires to determine how well they are recovering, so that we are able to determine what steps we can take to optimize recovery, and maximize results.
Bieman Fitness is a fitness company located in Cambridge, Ontario. It all started in 2015 when Jesse saw an opportunity to help clients who weren't training in a traditional gym setting still achieve their fitness goals.
Our specialization is in-home personal training where both the equipment and trainer come right to you.
Since this beginning, we have expanded to offering group classes in the KW and Guelph regions, training at workplace locations, and creating work-out plans that individuals can complete in their desired location.
Jesse owns and operates Bieman Fitness. He is a certified personal trainer with over eight years of experience working with business professionals, busy parents, sports teams, mature adults, and children fighting movement disorders.
Jesse holds a fitness and health promotion diploma from Humber College and advanced certifications from Osteoporosis Canada Bone Fit, Fai Functional Aging Specialists, and is a NASA-SES speed and explosion specialist. Jesse lives in Cambridge with his wife Emma and son Owen.
Jesse is known amongst his clients as a trainer who will make you feel comfortable and safe while still continuing to motivate and push you to reach your goals. He is passionate about seeing his clients reach their fitness goals and takes special care to truly understand his client's individual goals and abilities to ensure their success.
Jesse trains a wide variety of clients ranging from 10 to 94 years old and goals that range from optimizing health to sports performance.
